The Curious Case of Google Plus - Success or Failure?

A large number of web marketing analysts and commentators including yours truly touted it as the Facebook Killer. But after the fancy launch dust has settled down, the euphoria has somewhat ended. There is a growing feeling that Google Plus may end up being just another social network.

No doubt it is the fastest growing social networking site in the history as it is about to hit 25 million users but the big question in front of its owners is - will it be able to sustain the growth? Will it be able to bring that addictiveness which has got million glued to Facebook day in and day out.

To be frank , Google plus has a distinct look, cleaner interface, with more or less same features apart from the revolutionary hangout option. Speculations are Google Plus will be to Facebook what Bing is to Google search, which means nothing substantial as a competitor , however just another alternative with few interesting features. If that happens it will be a real sham for Google Plus developers and a big setback to Google. Nonetheless, the giant is capable of pulling out surprise aces up its sleeves, lets see how the game unfolds.
