
As per the latest results publish by Experian hitwise, bing continues to chip away Google ‘s search market share - bit by bit. Google saw 1% decline in its market share since last month and the obvious beneficiary was Bing powered search and yahoo. In my personal capacity, I often wonder, who are those folks who search on yahoo, as in it delivers some of the most pathetic results and why would anyone continue to use it? Below is the search market share chart released by Hitwise.
I find Bing as a beautiful and fast search engine (not a decision engine), as it isn’t that effective while delivering quality results. Nonetheless, its presence is important to keep Google on its toes and keep improving in the wake of competition.
